Energy Management
The LPVEC Energy Management Program, developed in 1998, facilitates cooperative purchasing of a variety of energy-related utilities, including electricity, natural gas, fuel oil, diesel fuel, and gasoline.
In FY22, the LPVEC coordinated three cooperative bids for energy-related products. Forty-seven districts/municipalities participated in cooperative purchases for fuel oil, 22 for diesel, and 18 for unleaded gasoline. Total energy bids in FY22 totaled approximately $7.5 million.
